How does automated invoicing work in Xpendee?

You can create branded invoices in seconds with custom item ledgers, tax rules, and multi-currency support using our Smart Invoicing Engine. Once saved, invoices generate single-page calibrated PDFs instantly, and you can email direct secure payment links or download them directly.

What payment methods can I provide to my clients on invoices?

You can define custom bank wire details (Bank Name, Account, IBAN/Routing, SWIFT/BIC) in your settings or onboarding wizard. Invoices display your banking instructions in clean tables with copy-friendly buttons for instant client transfers.

What is the OTP verification for Contracts and Proposals?

Instead of expensive third-party tools like DocuSign, Xpendee provides built-in OTP-signed contracts with a passwordless client portal. Clients review the agreement and digitally sign by entering an OTP code sent directly to their verified email address, creating a secure, legally-binding audit trail.

Can clients accept proposals and convert them to invoices?

Yes! When a client reviews your proposal link, they can accept or decline with notes. Accepted proposals can be converted into active contracts or billed invoices with a single click, saving hours of duplicate data entry.

Can I automate monthly retainer billing cycles?

Xpendee includes an automated MRR retainer scheduler. You can schedule daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly retainer intervals. Invoices can be configured to auto-dispatch directly on billing dates or generate as reviewable drafts.

How does multi-tenant data isolation protect my agency data?

Xpendee enforces strict multi-tenant isolation at the database level through global tenant query scopes, as documented in our Security Architecture. Your invoices, clients, expenses, SMTP credentials, and company documents are mathematically isolated and strictly inaccessible by any other agency on the platform.

Is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) supported?

Yes, Xpendee supports standard TOTP-based Two-Factor Authentication compatible with Google Authenticator, Authy, and 1Password. Super Admins and tenant users can enable or enforce 2FA with recovery codes.

Can I track business expenses and receipt attachments?

Yes! With our integrated Expense Tracker, you can log expenses across custom categories, link them directly to specific client projects, and attach photo receipts or PDF invoices for audit-ready tax preparation and P&L calculations.

Is there a free trial? Do I need a credit card to sign up?

Every new agency gets full unrestricted access to all Pro features with a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to sign up. View all plan details on our Pricing page.
